INHORGENTA VINTAGE: pavilion for collectors and enthusiasts celebrates 2027 premiere

Running parallel to INHORGENTA, a new area for vintage and antique jewelry as well as pre-owned jewelry and watches opens in the adjoining hall B0 from 19 to 22 February 2027. With this, INHORGENTA is responding to the growing interest in heritage, provenance, craftsmanship and exceptional individual pieces. INHORGENTA VINTAGE targets collectors, jewelry and watch enthusiasts as well as consumers interested in buying. INHORGENTA itself remains unaffected by this and continues to be a purely B2B trade fair for the specialist trade.

“Vintage and antique jewelry as well as pre-owned jewelry and watches stand for history, craftsmanship and sustainability, resonating with the spirit of the times. With INHORGENTA VINTAGE, we are creating a dedicated space for this segment for the first time: a place where visitors can discover and acquire special pieces as well as have their own jewelry and watches valued. At the same time, it creates a curated platform where renowned dealers, collectors and industry experts come together and tap into new business potential”, says Stefanie Mändlein, Exhibition Director of INHORGENTA.

Strong names from the start

Numerous dealers and jewelers have already confirmed their participation in the premiere. Among those taking part are Eppli, Juwelier Der Goldschmidt, Juwelier Herwig Müller, Leeb Schmuck, Roemer Jewels and Sabine Füchter from Germany, Art Deco Bijoux, Costruendo – Italian Vintage Jewellery, Distribuzione Preziosi d’Asta – Gioielleria Faelutti, E.L.A. Antichità and Luise Gioielli from Italy, as well as Huijbrechts from the Netherlands.

Valuation, expertise and authentication on site

A special feature of INHORGENTA VINTAGE is the on-site expert service: Dr. Heide Rezepa-Zabel, art historian, gemmologist and jewelry expert, known from the show “Bares für Rares”, will offer valuations of jewelry and gemstones on several days. Short appointments can be booked in advance.

“Vintage jewelry combines history, design and craftsmanship with a remarkable relevance today. Especially with historical pieces of jewelry, it is important to look closely. Provenance, material, workmanship and condition determine quality and value. I am delighted that, with the new pavilion, INHORGENTA is giving vintage jewelry its own space and thereby bringing greater focus to this fascinating market segment”, says Dr. Heide Rezepa-Zabel.

In addition, other experts such as Dr. Tom Stephan, managing director and head of the training centre of the German Gemmological Association (DGemG), Dr. Claudio Milisenda, managing director of the German Foundation for Gemstone Research (DSEF), and Josef M. Stadl, president of the German Society for Chronometry (DGC), offer authenticity and quality checks. Stefan Friesenegger, a multiple bestselling author and speaker for jewelers and universities, is a member of the expert panel of the Deutscher Knigge-Rat (German Etiquette Council) for the luxury/watches category and is also available as an advisor on all matters relating to watches. This provides visitors with an additional range of services covering valuation, expertise and authentication. The high profile of Dr. Heide Rezepa-Zabel also brings additional attention to the new format.

The premiere will take place from 19 to 22 February 2027 on the grounds of Messe München.
