2022: Successful restart after two years of pandemic
After a two-year long pandemic, INHORGENTA MUNICH celebrated a successful relaunch from April 8 to 11, 2022, with 732 exhibitors and 17,285 visitors, and once again shone as Europe's leading platform for the watch, jewelry and gemstone industries. The highlight was the presentation of the INHORGENTA AWARD, which recognized exceptional watches, jewelry and a retail concept
2020: Stable growth with increasing visitor internationality
INHORGENTA MUNICH remains stable on its growth course and proves to be an excellent business platform for newcomers and established industry leaders. In particular, the partner country Switzerland and TRENDFACTORY MUNICH are inspiring the audience.
2019: INHORGENTA MUNICH continues its growth course
The INHORGENTA MUNICH draws a positive balance of the fair. With 1,052 exhibitors from 41 countries, the international trade fair for the watch, jewellery and gemstone industry recorded an increase of 2.5 percent. The number of watch exhibitors even grew by 16 percent. The fair again welcomed around 27,000 visitors. The interest from abroad was particularly clear.
2018: Once again a strong increase of exhibitors
It keeps growing and growing: INHORGENTA MUNICH once again records a strong increase of four percent of exhibitors compared with the previous year. 1026 exhibitors from 42 countries participated in the trade show.
2017: A successful Award premiere
More exhibitors, more visitors and a successful Award premiere—The positive mood could be noticed in all halls among the exhibitors and visitors.
2016: New concept receives special recognition
INHORGENTA MUNICH 2016 has inspired the industry, with its new hall concepts, brilliant JEWELRY SHOW and innovative forums all received with enthusiasm.
2015: Internet and mono-brand stores
INHORGENTA MUNICH 2015 is based on the theme of the challenges we are currently faced with in the industry: internet business versus store-based trade, and the strengths and weaknesses of mono-brand stores.
2014: Pearls and inspiration
There are two new introductions for 2014. The Inspiration Lab has exciting innovations you can touch. The Pearls Symposium pools experts' knowledge on the treasure of the seas.
2011: International award and new visual worlds
INHORGENTA Award: a top-class international jury awards prizes for innovative products. The trade fair introduces a new key visual.
2010: A sparkling visit
Sir Gabriel Tolkowsky, inventor of the brilliant cut, visits the fair, and the talk given by this world-famous diamond cutter is a ground-breaking success.
2009: Strong in the face of the economic crisis
INHORGENTA MUNICH defies the weakness in the economy. The trade fair, and its exhibitors and visitors demonstrate the resilience of the market for jewelry and timepieces.
2004: The first-ever jewelry cocktail party
Successful cooperation: the German Jewelry and Timepiece Society invites guests from across the industry, business, and society to a fashion show social event.
2003: Sensational diamonds to take your breath away
The diamond fashion show exhibits 30 impressive creations, including the spectacular “Satine” necklace worn by Nicole Kidman in the film Moulin Rouge.
1999: New trade fair center and strong growth
INHORGENTA takes place at the new trade fair center for the first time. In spite of the extra space, the growth of the fair continues to call for the use of additional temporary halls.
1989: Jewelry ball for 15th anniversary
Glittering gala: for its 15th anniversary, INHORGENTA puts on the jewelry ball—a huge social event for the timepiece and jewelry industry.
1987: First atomic clock offering maximum precision
INHORGENTA presents the ultra-precise “Space Timer” from Kundo. The first fully automatic atomic clock is out by just one second in 150,000 years.
1974: Sensational premiere
INHORGENTA takes place for the first time in February 1974. The new Europe-wide forum for jewelry and timepieces leaps instantly into the global top five B2B trade fairs.
