INHORGENTA AWARD: the winners

A dazzling stage for great craftsmanship: on April 9, 2022, the watch, jewelry and gemstone industry's most important award was presented for the fifth time: the INHORGENTA AWARD. Winners in eight categories received the coveted trophy. The award ceremony is the highlight of INHORGENTA MUNICH.

“The INHORGENTA AWARD ceremony is a feast for the senses. This trophy honors exceptional watches and jewelry as well as a pioneering retail concept. It gives us enormous pleasure to provide a dazzling stage for this craftsmanship and to celebrate it together with the industry,” explains Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and CEO of Messe München. Among the approximately 450 guests at BMW Welt were the who's who of the industry, as well as representatives from culture and the media, and influencers Dennis Mitch, Laura Inghirami, Renu Choudhary and Sophia Thorer. Presenter Viviane Geppert hosted the evening.

  • Fashion Jewelry:
    COEUR DE LION with "COEUR DE LION // GEOCUBE® meets pearl"
  • Designer of the year:
    Breuning with “ANDREA”
  • Design Newcomer of the year:
    Jonathan Holz
  • Watch Design:
    Fréderique Constant with “Slimline Monolithic Manufacture”
  • Next Generation Retail:
    Jeweler Böckelmann with “Inspiration & Fascination—a trend-setting concept”
  • Retailers Choice Award—Best Watch:
    Junghans watch factory with “max bill MEGA Solar”
  • Retailers Choice Award—Best Piece of Jewelry:
    MANU Schmuckwerkstatt with “Shining Future”

The jury: Watch expert and author Gisbert L. Brunner, Leo Eberlin (jewelry label Leo Mathild), Sarah Fabergé (Director of Special Projects Fabergé), Jantje Fleischhut (Professor of New Craft Object Design), Anja Heiden (Member of WEMPE’s Executive Board), Siems Luckwaldt (Lifestyle Director “Capital” and “Business Punk”), designer Patrik Muff, founder and editor-in-chief Katerina Perez, and Nina Schwichtenberg, blogger and fashion label owner.

Retailers Choice online voting: For the two Retailers Choice categories, the trade visitors of INHORGENTA MUNICH voted online.

The main sponsor of the award was Citizen Watch Europe; shipping and insurance partner was Bertram Juwelierservice.
