Celebrating its fifth anniversary, the INHORGENTA AWARD is one of the most important awards in the jewelry and watch industry. On February 12, 2022, at the exclusive gala evening, the who's who of the industry, celebrities and media will celebrate the best jewelry, watches, designers, and retail concepts.

“The INHORGENTA AWARD is the highlight of the trade show and a glamorous stage for great craftsmanship in the jewelry and watch industry,” explains Elena Jasper, Exhibition Director INHORGENTA. “This is where we bring together the who's who of the industry, as well as a lot of celebrities and media representatives—and highlight groundbreaking trends.”

The award ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Munich’s BMW-Welt, TV presenter Viviane Geppert leads through the evening. Application is open to designers, goldsmiths, watchmakers, jewelers, manufacturers, brands, and young talents in eight categories: Fashion Jewelry, Fine Jewelry, Watch Design of the Year, Next Generation Retail, Designer of the Year, Design Newcomer of the Year. New additions are the Retailers Choice categories Best Watch and Best Piece of Jewelry. The deadline for submissions is January 26 (Retailers Choice: January 21).

Prominent jury

Submissions to the Retailers Choice categories will be rated online by trade fair visitors, thus giving retailers a strong voice. In all other categories, a prominent jury will select the winners. Joining the panel for the first time are: Sarah Fabergé, Director of Special Projects Fabergé and great-granddaughter of Peter Carl Fabergé; influencer Katerina Perez; Antje Leinemann, Managing Director Bikini Berlin; and Siems Luckwaldt, Lifestyle Director of “Capital” and “Business Punk” magazines. Already well-known faces are Anja Heiden, Executive Board Member at WEMPE, and watch expert Gisbert Brunner.

“I am honored to be a jury member for the INHORGENTA AWARD 2022,” explains Sarah Fabergé. “The event offers the opportunity to showcase a variety of talent and I look forward to seeing new perspectives and where the imagination can take us. The award provides the opportunity to celebrate invention and creativity within our industry and to inspire the next generation of artist jewelers.”
